Getting involved in your community isn’t always easy, so we’ve made it simple for you to find relevant and meaningful volunteer opportunities that fit your busy lifestyle.
The Timeraiser is part volunteer fair and part silent art auction where, rather than money, you bid a number of hours you are willing to volunteer for an organization of your choice over the next 12 months. Once you finish your pledge you then bring your artwork home as a reminder of your good will.
Throughout the evening meet with representatives from a variety of non-profit agencies that are looking for help and match your skills to their needs. From Big Brothers/Big Sisters Ottawa to Ottawa Riverkeeper and Ottawa Folk Festival, there are many stimulating ways to get involved in your community.
