Come and join us as this year we will be planting our 50,000th tree along the banks of the Carp River. Families and children welcome. Enjoy an early spring day in the country.
Place – The Walsh property, 2867 Diamondview Road and some adjacent properties heading downstream.Direction – Take Carp Road north towards Kinburn. Turn left at Thomas Dolan Road and then right at Diamondview just after the bridge over the Carp River. We’ll be planting on the left side of the road.
What to Bring – Bring shovels and wear water-proof boots.
Note – Volunteer hours can be used for High School Community Service.
Rain date – If it’s pouring rain, we will plant instead on Sunday, 30 April. However, light rain will not daunt us on 29 April!
