The Polaris Institute and the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives are pleased to present the revised and updated edition of Tony Clarke’s Inside the Bottle: Exposing the Bottled Water Industry. The groundbreaking first edition of Inside the Bottle was instrumental in revealing the harmful environmental and health impacts of the bottled water industry. In the revised edition, Clarke expands his analysis of the industry’s big four, Coca-Cola, Danone, PepsiCo and Nestlé, and responds directly to the deceptive claims of the industry’s biggest lobby, the Canadian Bottled Water Association. In honour of the occasion, Ozlem Balpinar, owner of Oz Kafe, has decided to permanently ban bottled water from her restaurant.
