Ottawa Riverkeeper is collaborating with the Sierra Club of Canada Ottawa Group and the Friends of the Carp River to host an informative trip to the Carp River. Sunday May 15th from 10 am to 2 pm.
We will be exploring several interesting sections of the Carp River. There will be a short (1 km) guided hike plus information highlighting current developments along the river and river remediation work being done by The Friends of the Carp River. There will be a noon hour picnic at Kinburn Community Centre further down the Carp River (Canoes and Kayaks welcome).
Maximum 25 participants. This is a great opportunity to enjoy one of Ottawa’s waterways and welcome back the birds that have come to spend the summer in our region.
There is no admission charge.
