Join our Riverwatcher Hank Jones and others for a clean-up of Constance Bay Beach and some citizen science.
What:
Join us to help clean up the beautiful and sandy Constance Bay shoreline after a glorious summer of use. In addition to the clean up, this year volunteers will also become citizen scientists. We plan to take photographs and record data on: polluting scums and foams; plant overgrowth and invasive species; dead fish with lesions; and fish kills. We’ll also take live zebra mussel samples to be submitted for analysis of contaminants.
