World Water Day is an international day of observance and action to draw attention to the plight of the more than 1 billion people world wide that lack access to clean, safe drinking water. The Ottawa Chapter of Council of Canadians is hosting an event for World Water Day 2010! Don’t miss your chance to hear Meredith Brown (Riverkeeper) speak about local water issues, and keeping the Ottawa River clean. There will also be a screening of the documentary film “Blue Gold”.
