Come and paddle the beautiful Gatineau River with the Friends of Gatineau River and the Ottawa Riverkeeper.

FOG (Friends of the Gatineau River) invite you to join us in a canoe or kayak paddle from Low down to Wakefield. All are welcome! Put-in on east bank just south of the Paugan Dam with take-out at Wakefield.
Participants are invited to a bring-your-own lunch/BBQ to be held at Kippewa – 324 Wakefield Hts. Rd. (you can access by river or road). This event is in conjunction with Burro Borracho who, with Jim Sisstie, will assist in shuttling canoes to Low. Rental canoes/kayaks and gear available with parking behind Boutique Burro Borrocho. Please call Neil at 459-3810 or Eva at 459-3952 by Friday to book a free lift to the Paugan Dam put-in. Pick-up in Wakefield starting at 8.30 and event will run come rain or shine.
