There will be something for everyone at MEC Bikefest. You’ll meet local retailers showing off their products, cycling-focused community groups, and fellow cycling enthusiasts. Bikefest will have games, demonstrations, and clinics on topics like servicing your bike, cycling technique, and cycling safety. And if you’re looking to buy, sell, or swap some cycling gear, make sure you check out MEC’s new Bike Swap.
MEC Bikefest is for kids too and their kids programs are extremely popular.
Please note that the westbound lane of the Ottawa River Parkway is closed from 9:00am – 1:00pm, from the Canadian War Museum to Carling Avenue.
We do suggest taking advantage of the road closure and visiting on your bike. Other options are by foot or public transport. However, if you do drive you’ll want to park in an adjacent neighborhood.
