Main agenda topics are:
Road Salt, Snow Storage and Waste Disposal Sites
Ø Presentations: Two presentations will outline how road salt is currently stored and applied, efforts to promote best management practices and the health and environmental concerns associated with road salt and snow storage.
Ø Draft Policy Ideas: Committee members will consider draft policy ideas to address the following activities where they are considered a drinking water threat:
§ Road Salt and Snow Storage
§ Waste Disposal Sites (hazardous, industrial, municipal, commercial, septage and tailings)
