NCR YW-YMCA CANOE CAMPING CLUB Seminar Series - Jay’s Great Canadian Canoe Quest

YMCA Ottawa - 7-9PM - Wednesday, March 14, 2007

The YCCC’s own Jay Morrison continues the high calibre of our Winter Seminar Series with a talk and photo presentation of year one of his cross-Canada paddle in support of wilderness conservation.

Jay solo paddled 3100 kilometers from the salt waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence to Lake Winnipeg. He is currently preparing to complete the journey to the Arctic Ocean in 2007.

Jay will share some previously undisclosed “adventure” stories including what NOT to do along the trail, and he’ll answer questions about any aspect of the trip. If you weren’t already following the on-line journal this past summer, you can get a taste of Jay’s trip at: www.cpaws.org/canoe.
