Meredith will be speaking at the National Capital Region Wildlife Festival – as part of National Widlife Week. This year’s theme is ‘Watersheds – more than just water – yours to explore’ ~ ‘Mon bassin versant – c’est tout un monde à découvrir’!
Meredith will talk about the Riverkeeper organization, why they got started and how they are working to protect the ecological integrity of the Ottawa River. She will discuss some of the major threats the river is facing today and what we can do to help. Significant time will be left after the presentation for discussion and questions.
