Meredith Brown, the Riverkeeper was invited to discuss the health of the Ottawa River and its tributaries, especially the Bonnechere River which empties into the Ottawa River in Horton Township. Meredith will also talk about the fish kill of the summer 2006 and its implications for the future.
Directions: Take 417 west to the Town of Renfrew. At the second set of traffic lights on Highway 17 for Renfrew turn right onto Castleford Road. The Community Centre is located at 1005 Castleford Road, about 2 kms from Highway 17.
