Speaker Series: Ottawa River Geoheritage and Cultural Significance

The Ottawa RIVERKEEPER Speaker Series is open to all and free of charge; however donations to Ottawa RIVERKEEPER are encouraged. Each evening, speakers are invited to deliver an important message to raise public awareness. The presentation will be followed by a 20 minute Question and Answer period. Ottawa River Geoheritage and Cultural Significance
Al Donaldson (Carleton University) will review 1) the geological aspects of natural history in the Ottawa River watershed, 2) the culturally significant sites on the Ottawa River, and 3) the actions citizen can take to protect the river for the future generations.
