As part of our “Perspectives on Water” series, the Friends of the Tay Watershed are hosting a third event featuring Canada’s foremost water advocate, Maude Barlow on Wednesday, 24 September 2008, at 7pm at the PDCI Auditorium, 13 Victoria Street, Perth.
In addition to speaking, Maude will be on hand to sign her new book “The Blue Covenant – The Global Water Crisis and the Coming Battle for the Right to Water.” copies of which will be available for purchase. Local singer/songwriter Joel LeBlanc will provide entertainment.
This event is free to members of the Friends of the Tay Watershed and students, otherwise an admission fee of $5 applies.
