Accessibility and Access Keys [0]
In 2005, the City of Ottawa investigated public waterfront access on the Ottawa and Rideau Rivers. A key outcome was the identification of almost two hundred road allowances and other public rights-of-way that provide waterfront access opportunities. The City wishes to recognize the public recreational function of selected road allowances through their closure and re-soning as open space.
The City of Ottawa has scheduled one public consultation to present its strategy and to receive public comments
