The Wabano Centre for Aboriginal Health is hosting a procession and ceremony for their vision of a clean and healthy Ottawa River for World Water Day 2010. World Water Day is an international day to highlight the need for world wide access to clean and safe drinking water.
The event will include a processional walk, and will be followed by a ceremony for the waters.
Great volunteers of Ottawa Riverkeeper will be participating in the walk and attending the ceremony. Join us for the procession and ceremony which supports water education for Aboriginal communities.
March 22, 2010 – 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM
