The Planning and Environment Committee is calling on all levels of government to ensure the quality of drinking water from the Ottawa River.
Councillors passed Councillor Clive Doucet’s motion, which says maintaining the integrity of the drinking water requires support from the municipal, Ontario and Federal Governments.
A committee would be approved by the end of May.
