Add another five million litres to the amount of storm and waste water that’s spilled into the Ottawa River so far this year.
Saturday’s rainfall is to blame for the most recent spill.
The total amount of overflow now stands at 232 million litres for this year so far.
According to the City of Ottawa, drinking water is not affected.
