Not all of the beaches in Gatineau are open for swimming.
The National Capital Commission closed O’Brien Beach at Meech Lake this afternoon after a bloom of blue algae was discovered near the edge of the beach.
The area will remain closed to the public until the samples are evaluated.
N-C-C biologists will update the public tomorrow.
