The future of the Ottawa River and its tributaries will be the focus of a one-day summit this summer.
The Ottawa Riverkeepers, in co-operation with the National Capital Commission, will host the summit on August 27th.
The Ottawa River Summit will encourage First Nations leaders, elected officials and municipal staff from Ontario and Quebec to share information and experiences, and to work co-operatively on river-related issues.
