Water levels are now “marginally below normal” for this time of year along the Ottawa River.
A wet August and start of September has helped boost water levels along the waterway.
The Ottawa River Regulating Committee says rainfall received in the northern portions of the basin outflow has increased water levels, adding water levels and flows are expected to remain stable this week.
Water levels had been well below normal during most of the spring and summer along the Ottawa River
Ottawa has received 67 mm of rain through the first 14 days of September, after receiving 173 mm in August.
