Meet at Bate’s Island under the Champlain Bridge

For all of us that have enjoyed the river this summer, it’s a day to give back to our Mighty Ottawa!! The water is low and the opportunity high to clean both the shores of the Champlain bridge section and the rocky little islands between the riverbanks. There’s a BBQ for participants, and a raffle at the end of our garbage pick up. Cool items ! Grab your canoe and a paddle and come and support Ottawa Riverkeeper. We will have some canoes/paddles and pfds available, but we would suggest you bring your own canoe if you can. It’s going to be great paddle / play time.

For further information and to register, please contact Laurel Rosene at tobeonwater@yahoo.com

Pre-registration prior to October 19th is appreciated to prepare for the BBQ.
