Thanks to everyone who came out to our meeting.
Over 75 people attended our Annual General Meeting to hear about the work of Ottawa Riverkeeper and ask questions. Meredith Brown, Riverkeeper and Executive Director presented a special sneak preview of the upcoming River Report, which features an investigative piece on sewage and its impact on our river.
Congratulations to our newly elected board of directors and a warm welcome to our three new directors: John Booth, Regan Morris and Barry Stemshorn. Biographies of all our volunteer directors are available on our website.
Karen Maw received the 2008 Daniel Brunton Outstanding Volunteer Award in recognition of her dedication, commitment and passion for protecting and preserving the Ottawa River.
