Take a splash with Ottawa Riverkeeper River Friends guides, River Girl and Professor Wetfoot, during this aquatic adventure full of fins and fun. Meet the plants and animals that live in the Ottawa River and help create a Folkfest mural to show how important clean water is for all of us. Bring your curiosity, questions and good ideas, and don’t be afraid to get your feet wet!
BIOS:
River Girl comes from a planet far away where what little water left is very polluted. She has come to Earth to work with the River Friends to help young humans save and protect their river before its too late. Professor Wetfoot is a wacky water scientist who always has at least one foot in the water. He cares about clean water and uses science to help the Ottawa Riverkeeper and friends better understand and protect the incredible river and resource around them. For their day jobs, Rob Kent (aka Prof Wetfoot) is a government water scientist, and Sarah Rosolen (aka River Girl) is a teacher. Both are volunteers with the Ottawa Riverkeeper.
