Jamie Findlay has fond memories of playing pond hockey with friends on the St. Lawrence River where he grew up. With enthusiasm, Jamie approached Ottawa Riverkeeper with his idea to combine two of Canadians great passions: hockey and rivers. With the help of Jamie and many other volunteers Ottawa Riverkeeper was able to deliver our first ever Pond Hockey Tournament.
