Ottawa Riverkeeper encourages you to make a difference by getting involved in your community. We created easy to use clean up kits that you can use to organize a clean up in your area. It includes information about how to organize a clean up, information about the Ottawa River watershed, and the tools you will need on the day of your clean up, like gloves and bags.

Clean Up Captains: If you’re a Captain you will be the go to person for your clean up event. You will be organizing the event and running the event on the day of. You might be an individual or a part of a club or association. We are looking for captains from all over the watershed! Contact us if you have an urge to make a difference in your community.
If you would like to participate in a clean up happening in your area, contact us to find out were a Clean up captain is in your area.
