Shoreline Cleanup at Petrie Island – August 12th, 2021

Join us August 12th from 5-7 pm for a shoreline cleanup at Petrie Island in Ottawa!

Ottawa Riverkeeper will provide hand sanitizer, gloves and bags at the beach. However, we encourage volunteers to bring their own equipment as well. It is crucial to wear sturdy, appropriate footwear and clothing, and, if you wish, to bring a reusable water bottle and bug spray. Although the event is taking place outside we encourage you to wear masks when unable to keep physical distance!

WHERE: Petrie Island Beach
WHEN: August 12th 2021, from 5pm to 7pm
