Over the course of two cleanups in Thurso and Hawkesbury, volunteers collected over 1400lbs of trash from the shorelines of the Ottawa River! More cleanups are planned over the summer as part of this ongoing partnership with the Pacte d’Amitié.

Following a recent career fair, where youth heard from a diverse group about how they came to become water protectors, one Youth Water Leader was inspired to write about her takeaways and the various ways that life can lead you to work for our waterways.

This World Rivers Day, we wanted to honour not only the Ottawa River and its tributaries, but also you, the people that love the watershed and make our work possible.

At our Annual Public Meeting on November 27th we released our 2019 Annual Report, which is filled with all sorts of updates from the past year!
