The federal election campaign is now in full swing! We would like to share with you our concerns and aspirations for the well-being of the Ottawa River watershed we all share.

The Federal Government report on the Ottawa River Watershed was tabled on June 19th 2019. Here is what we are taking away from it, and what we are doing going forward.

Ottawa Riverkeeper held its Annual Riverwatch Meeting and celebrated the awarding of a $262,900 Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) Grow grant in March 2017, along with a $72,500 OTF Seed grant awarded to the group in June 2018.

Ottawa Riverkeeper warmly welcomes the federal government’s decision to fund research and community-based monitoring (CBM) to better understand the health of the Ottawa River watershed.
