Time for some spring cleaning! We’ll be out at Stanley Park in Ottawa on April 22nd for a community cleanup. The cleanup will run from 10 am to 12:30, and everyone is welcome to join. This is a great opportunity to get out and do something tangible for the environment this Earth Day.
But this isn’t just a cleanup! Stick around after the cleanup for a fun community event at the New Edinburgh Park Fieldhouse, as a way to give thanks to the awesome volunteers that make events like these possible.
Ottawa Riverkeeper will provide hand sanitizer, gloves and bags. However, we encourage volunteers to bring their own equipment as well. It is crucial to wear sturdy, appropriate footwear and clothing, and, if you wish, to bring a reusable water bottle and bug spray.
