Current Conversations: Surf and Song – August 27th, 2025

An evening celebrating river surfing and music inspired by love of the river! Join in on Wednesday, August 27th from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Join us for Current Conversations, a summer speaker series hosted in Ottawa Riverkeeper’s Learning Lab at the NCC River House, every other Wednesday evening. Each event will feature interesting speakers or presenters, refreshments, and a chance to learn, discuss, and ask questions about the river.

Join singer-songwriter Mia Kella for an intimate performance and conversation as she shares a few of her songs and speaks on her deep connection to the Ottawa River as a river surfer.
