Parc Moussette: Beach Cleanup and Water Sampling Demonstration – June 15th, 2019
Ottawa Riverkeeper is looking for volunteers who would like a hands-on opportunity to get engaged in their community and to participate in recreational water quality monitoring at Parc Moussette this summer.
This event will take place on June 15th, the first day beaches will be open in Gatineau! Watch a demonstration of water quality monitoring techniques and participate in a shoreline cleanup. This project aims to better understand water quality at this beach, and get people who use the beach involved in the monitoring! All are welcome!
WHEN: June 15th 2019 – 10am to noon WHERE:Parc Moussette
The event will take place rain or shine. We will be doing our water quality testing under a tent in the case of rain. Dress for the weather!
