Due to elevated water levels at Britannia Beach, and following the recommendations of City officials, our Earth Day cleanup on April 22nd will now be taking place at Andrew Haydon Park at 10 am.
Join us on Wednesday April 22nd from 10-12pm for a shoreline cleanup NOW AT Andrew Haydon Park in Ottawa to celebrate Earth Day. Spring cleanups are critical for removing winter debris before it finds its way into our beautiful rivers!
This is already shaping up to be a popular event, so we encourage volunteers who have their own equipment to bring it with them, especially reusable gloves like gardening gloves, buckets & grabbers. The event is open to everyone, though we ask you to please register in advance so we know how many people to expect.
