Shoreline Cleanup at Stanley Park – April 21st, 2024
Join us in Ottawa for an Earth Day shoreline cleanup at Stanley Park in partnership with the New Edinburgh Community Alliance on April 21st, from 10am to noon!
Ottawa Riverkeeper is teaming up with the New Edinburgh Community Alliance to hold an Earth Day shoreline cleanup at Stanley Park in Ottawa on Sunday, April 21st. This is a great way to get hands-on with protecting your river, meet other river enthusiasts, and contribute to cleaner shorelines.
Ottawa Riverkeeper will provide hand sanitizer, gloves and bags for the event. However, we encourage volunteers to bring their own equipment as well. It is crucial to wear sturdy, appropriate footwear and clothing, and, if you wish, to bring a reusable water bottle and bug spray.
WHERE: At the gazebo behind the Stanley Park Fieldhouse WHEN: April 21st 2024, at 10:00 am (in case of heavy rain, the event will take place on April 28th)
